Our Mission

We are a non-denominational Bible church. We are committed to teaching the life principles of Scripture in ways that help us learn to live the Christian life.

We are a church that is committed to connection.

Connection to God through faith in Jesus Christ God’s Son.
Connection to our biological families.
Connection to our church family.

We are a people who are working to live out our core values and to relate to one another in loving and biblical ways.

We believe that people today need a place of love, acceptance, and restoration. We want to give all people the second chance we’ve all had.

We believe everyone needs and should be offered a new start. At Farm Loop Christian Center, they’ll get that.

Our Vision

The Vision of Farm Loop Christian center is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in as many ways possible to turn non-believers into believers, believers into disciples, and disciples into servant-leaders who will reach others for Jesus Christ.

We believe that fulfilling our purpose is dependent on four areas of spiritual growth and opportunity. These four areas are edification, equipping, evangelism and extension.

All of these areas are part of the process of discipleship.

Beliefs

Doctrine is important. Read our Statement of Faith and our Core Values to learn about what we believe at Farm Loop Christian Center.

Scripture:

We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inerrant, infallible and inspired by God and that the Holy Bible in its entirety is the final rule and authority for the doctrine and practice of this congregation.
(II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21)

Godhead:

We believe there is one God, eternally existent as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1, 26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus Christ:

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ; fully God, fully Man in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in glory and power.
(I Timothy 3:16, I John 4:2, 9-10; I Corinthians 15:3-4)

Holy Spirit:

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling presence and deposit, the believer is set apart to live a godly life and produce the Fruit of the Spirit. We also believe in works of the Holy Spirit subsequent to salvation. The Holy Spirit enables and equips believers to be witnesses of Jesus Christ and to minister in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit.
(Ephesians 1:13-14, Galatians 5:22-23, Luke 11:13, Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 12)

Man:

We believe all mankind has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that new birth by the Holy Spirit and the blood of Christ is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
(Acts 4:12, Romans 3:23, 10:9-10, John 3:3, I John 1:7-9)

Salvation:

We believe man is justified by faith in Jesus Christ, apart from works and that Christians are the workmanship of Jesus Christ, created to do good works and glorify Him.
(Ephesians 2:8-10)

Healing:

We believe the redemptive work of Christ provides healing for the whole person; spirit, soul and body.
(Isaiah 53:4-5; I Thessalonians 5:23, I Peter 2:24)

Judgment and Reward:

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life, and the lost to everlasting condemnation with the devil and his angels
( I Corinthians 15:20-26; Revelation 20, 21)

Ordinances:

We believe in receiving the ordinances of communion and in baptizing believers by complete immersion in water.
(Matthew 28:19)

Marriage:

We believe the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman.
(Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:2; I Corinthians 7:10; Ephesians 5:21-33)

Human Sexuality:

We believe that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of marriage. We believe any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, transgenderism, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. We believe God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery, hormone treatment or appearance.
(Genesis 2:24; Genesis 19:5,13; Genesis 26:8-9; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-39; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8; Hebrews 13:4)

1. We believe every person is a creation of God and is valuable to God and His Kingdom. Because people are valuable to God, they are valuable to us. Responsible evangelism is our cause and continuous discipleship will be the core of our ministry.
Matthew 18:14, Matthew 25:45, II Peter 3:7

2. We believe God intends our church to work as a team and doing so makes us more effective for Him. God desires every believer to be a functioning serving part of the body of Christ and every person is vital to the plan God has for our church collectively.
I Corinthians 12:7

3. We believe every member should commit to a lifestyle of consistent spiritual growth. True Love for God should be our first priority. We should all long for spiritual growth and pursue it.
Mark 12:29-31, Acts 2:44-47, I Peter 2:2

4. We believe every member has spiritual gifts to be discovered, developed and deployed for the good of God’s Kingdom. We are to be a gift-based, spirit-led, volunteer driven church. We serve best when serving in the area of our spiritual gift and passion. Every believer is created, gifted, authorized and needed for service.
Mark 10:45, Ephesians 2:10, Romans 12, I Corinthians 12:14-20

5. We believe God deserves our best. A desire for excellence should be present in everything we do for God. We should be open to evaluation and improvement for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
Colossians 3:17, Psalm 78.72, Daniel 5:12, Ecclesiastes 10:10

6. We believe the most effective evangelism and church growth happens by people inviting people. People reach people with whom relationships have been made. Sharing Jesus Christ becomes a normal natural way of leading others to Christ.
Proverbs 11:30, John 1:43-45, John 4:28-30, I Peter 3:15

7. We believe a simple presentation of Jesus Christ in as many ways as possible will reach and transform lives. While being creative, we will always stay true to Scriptural truths and principles.
I Corinthians 9:22-23, Acts 17:22-34

8. We believe in training leaders who are committed to Christ and releasing them to lead ministries. They will be equipped and empowered by the Spirit and us to help others serve in God’s Kingdom.
II Timothy 2:2, I Timothy 3:1, Titus 1:5-9

9. We believe true Christian love and caring relationships are essential to true service and success as a church. We refuse to listen or give in to a spirit of complaining. We will be positive in our attitude and see problems as opportunities not yet mature. We will always seek unity in the Spirit.
James 1:2-3, I Peter 3:8-9, I Corinthians 13:8, Romans 16:17, Ephesians 4:3, Psalm 133
